Blog Reflection

This assignment has helped me in being more fluid in transferring my thoughts onto paper. When I have remembered to blog each day then I saw improvement. I completely forgot about this assignment as coaching took me on the road and this part of the class slipped my mind. I am not a guy who like to write a lot, but I do know that through this writing experience I will be continuing to journal in the future. Writing each day has helped me remember things better and appreciate people and the opportunities I have each day. As I reflect this assignment has helped grow my thinking and the quality of words I write now and I feel like I can see a big increase on my essays already this year from the past. Writing practice each day has helped me grow a lot through this class.

So today I went to my first truck pull.  I have been to tractor pulls but these trucks were pretty sweet. The engine noise and rumble they had were awesome. just listening to all that power I wondered what it would feel like to drive one. I mean th trucks were cool but the way people came out dressed there was the best part. I am not like a cowboy, but I knew people there that aren't cowboys and the looked like John Wayne. like don't e fake and dress based off of the crowd, but just be youseld. fake people are the worst type.

So today I was supposed to go fishing and ended up not because of the rain. Except it never rained so that really sucks. Good news is that tomorrow I get to go to the river so I’m pretty pumped about that. Hopefully we catch a bunch of fish then or else I will not be happy. In other news I am digging fence post holes without the use of an auger. Which is impossible due to the large rocks I have encountered and cannot bust through. It thoroughly sucks. You can’t bust through a 6 inch thick rock with an iron rod. I have tried and tried and it is literally impossible. I have no clue what to do or anything. Hopefully the rain will soften up the ground and allow me to dig quickly. Otherwise it will take me literally forever to finish the job. I have 20 holes to dig and I am only done with 2. It is rough. Besides that I am doing nothing with my life. I literally workout and hope that I get a B or higher in my English class to raise my gap up for school. Otherwise I may be in some trouble. I haven't helped myself since I have forgotten to do the blog assignment so this really blows. I can’t decide if I am ready for school to start or not. Someday I am other days I am just like no I can wait. That’s how I am about my whole life. I just go off a feeling, never off of a thought out decision. I am sure one day it will bite me in the butt. As of now it hasn’t. That time is coming though I am sure. Hopefully it stays away because life now is super stressful.

well today I did nothing. I got to actually sleep in so that was pretty nice but besides that I really did nothing. baseball is not on tv until Friday so I have no idea what to watch. we have an essay due tomorrow that I have 1 page done on so tomorrow will suck. I m ready to hit up the river this weekend and chill with my buddies and fish a lot. it has been a little overdue for a good weekend away.

well I totally forgot about this assignment and how we have to journal each day so this really sucks. baseball is finally over so now I can fish and relax and have fun hopefully. School is starting up soon so that is no fun. I could use another 4 months off of school. I honestly cant wait for September 15th. I love to bow hunt and cant wait to start shooting again. bow hunting is my place of peace and tranquility away from the world. I can think and not have people bother me. I could use that right about now. life is getting too hectic for me.

Another free write to talk about. Its going to be once again about baseball. I can already tell you that my essay is about the game of baseball. I watched Kershaw throw again today and it was just brilliant and jaw dropping. im nit a hitter and he was so good today that my own head hurt. He just dominates and as much as I would like to see Adam Wainwright win the Cy Young he has no chance with Kershaw throwing the way he is. I am leaving to coach in Oklahoma this weekend and they paid foe a free round of golf. That was pretty neat. I suck at golf but it is fun to hit a ball a mile and not have a clue where it is going. I am lying I am not that bad, but it has been awhile. It shall be interesting.

As I think about the idea or topic to write about I can’t really come up with one except the fact my best friend met a new girl and brought her home. She actually was very nice and cute. I was unsure on how she would react to being surrounded by a bunch of people in a pool, but she fit right on in. I’m very impressed with her and I told him that she was definitely a keeper. In other news the Cardinals game is on and their pitcher Adam Wainwright had a no hitter going in until he just gave up a hit in the 6^th inning. I love that pitcher. He is definitely my favorite guy on that staff. He has electric stuff. His curve might be the best in baseball. He does not have over powering stuff, but he is as mentally tough as anyone in baseball. He just knows he is good and performs like the best in baseball. At this rate he should win a Cy Young Award this year. If he does not win then I will be surprised. Although Kershaw is a beast and has been completely dominant too and especially lately he has been unbelievably dominant.
